Designed to explore hand-carving sculptural forms in wood, the chair draws inspiration from mid-century design and Sam Maloof's techniques. It incorporates a brass mechanism, enabling the backrest to pivot and support different seating positions. As one of my early projects, it provided valuable lessons and introduced me to new techniques in design and craftsmanship.
